I am a certified Fertility Awareness Educator (NFPTA) and Fertility Awareness Method Mastery™ Practitioner with over 10 years of personal and professional experience in the field of Fertility Awareness.
As a former professional dancer, I see fertility as a dance — requiring vitality, awareness, emotional resilience and the ability to both lead and follow.
Through rigorous, science-based Fertility Awareness education, I help women reconnect with the deep, intuitive intelligence of their cycles while remaining grounded in clear methodology and modern medical understanding.
Whether your goal is to avoid pregnancy, conceive with confidence, or address menstrual cycle issues at their root, I would love to support you to read your menstrual cycle as a vital sign, manage your fertility naturally, and overcome the barriers to embodying your vitality.
I’m Isobel, hello!
I am a teacher, writer, Mother, mover & earth lover.
My Story
Since the age of 5, I immersed myself in harnessing the physical ability of my body through increasingly intense dance training. But around the time I was graduating with a degree in Contemporary Dance at LCDS I felt overcome with a sense of profound disembodiment and disempowerment, despite my physical fitness and high achievement.
Reliant on hormonal birth control since 16, I initially felt empowered but soon experienced bouts of intense anxiety, depression, pelvic pain, and ultimately despair over what felt like extremely limited options for women. Realising the source of my pain was a disconnection from my body because of my cycle suppression, I took the scary step in liberating myself from hormonal birth control.
Navigating uncertainty, I discovered the Fertility Awareness Method, which empowered me to manage contraception while honouring my health. I’m now proud to say I’ve been navigating natural contraception successfully throughout my entire 20s!
My hormones were out of whack though, which manifested as severe PMS every cycle – sending me into spirals of depression that would floor me for days and sometimes weeks. I stopped pursuing a PMDD diagnosis when I found support which took into consideration my entire self – I felt I didn’t require the label in order to manage this challenge.
Training with Womben Wellness, Red School, acquiring a Bodywork Diploma and Yoga Nidra teacher qualification, and delving into nutrition and holistic hormonal balance, I uncovered the intricate links between the nervous system, mind-body connection, lifestyle factors and optimal hormone health. I healed my own cycle; regular, balanced and no more suffering!
I started working with women and groups of dancers exploring the cycle as a creative and spiritual path and this work inspired me to gain further training in order to help people avoid pregnancy or conceive naturally and monitor their health and fertility to make tangible positive shifts in their experience of their cycles. The Fertility Awareness educational piece has always been the thing that I saw create most lasting change in these women’s lives. So I got certified as an educator in 2020 by the NFPTA and graduated from mentorship by Lisa Hendrickson Jack in 2024.
My additional training as a professional dancer, Bodyworker and Yoga Nidra facilitator and my non-professional passion for Menstruality and permaculture all deeply inform my practice, helping me to help you discover your own personal fertility awareness practice which will serve you for a lifetime of mind body connection and profound self care.
I specialise in Fertility Awareness and menstrual cycle issues because I have experienced first hand, through my own journey and the inspiring stories of my clients, how the menstrual cycle is key to our ability to thrive and relate to our bodies way beyond just managing, coping, controlling and merely surviving. My journey fuels my passion to empower women who live and work and play through, because of and sometimes in spite of their bodies – to reclaim their health and cycles, guiding them toward holistic well-being and self-awareness.
Because a world where we bleed with harmony, ease and self ownership, is a better world for us all.

I created this free guide to clarify what’s ‘normal’ and what might not be, and arm you with language if you choose to refer to a medical professional.
